Overview
PDG drives the development, implementation and design of a new Deal Tracking system which is the technological heartbeat of the Apple TV+ production process. It services users from finance, legal, creative and business affairs departments — acting as the connective tissue between many of these groups. The application manages the deal making, negotiating, and closing processes required for any studio to produce content. PDG leverages its M+E industry expertise to provide timely and comprehensive solutions to Apple TV+ stakeholders.

Music Rights Management
Overview
PDG designed and developed the enterprise web application, site flow, and customer-facing storefront for the Magic music rights management system. Magic tracks all publisher and master rights that a studio owns for original scores for its films and television shows. Cue management for features and television episodes allows potential 3rd party licensees to easily find music heard in a production and ensures producers have a comprehensive view of all music used in any production – including licensed songs and/or scores. The core engine also drives an external licensing platform where outside filmmakers can license the original music written for the project.

Digital Transformation
Overview
PDG has owned the entirety of Sesac’s Digital Transformation project from requirements gathering, UX design, application design, development, testing facilitation, and deployment. The project includes updating the Licensee, Affiliate, and public website experience to best of breed technologies and UX design. A full-stack implementation - everything from UX to the backend, royalty management, song catalog management, payment processing, authentication, and ETL has been re-designed to provide a better user experience on a new tech stack at a lower run cost.
